Training
At
FCT, we
believe
in training for our actors. We expect our talent to
work their 'acting muscles' every day... in
rehearsal, at auditions, on set and in private. We
now require our talent to take at least two workshops
per year.
On that note, here's a list of workshops that are
featured in our area:

Acting Biz Coaching w/ Phillip Ramirez
With over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry, Phil has worked both in front of and behind the cameras. He's worked for companies like Lorimar Productions, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Columbia Studios. As a performer, he's come out of the famed Second City working and producing shows for their Santa Monica theater. He has worked with such improv notables as Ryan Stiles, Colin Mocherie and Brad Sherwood ("Whose Line Is It Anyway"). He's also written scripts for the television shows "Davis Rules" with Jonathan Winters and "Star Trek: Voyager."
Phil's goal is not to make you a great actor...
you should already have that covered when you
walk on the set. His goal is to help you navigate
the business side of the industry... everything
from contracts and their terms to acting
etiquette and how important it is to be a
consistent performer when someone else's money is
on the line. Most importantly, he will give you
the skills you need to appear like the
professional you want to be by helping you avoid
the mistakes and pitfalls of the unseasoned
actor.
Coaching and consultations are available
immediately.
Price for a One-on-One consultation is $50 per
hour, with a one hour minimum.

Acting Workshops w/ Cindy Hogan
Cindy Hogan's ongoing experience in the real
world of film and television acting gives her an
insight into the industry that is invaluable to
her students.
The purpose of her work is to lead actors into
discovering their own persona and to live
entirely in the moment. Her approach to each of
these may be completely different for each
individual she teaches. Cindy deals with the
actor's work through the eyes of a director and
believes that acting in all mediums comes from
the same place
